Spring 2007 Update

Well, it's almost been 2 years since the last post here, but at least I'm getting on again. (Thanks to Rob for doing his blog!)

Kai & Miyana are both growing up so well. Miyana is on the fast track. She already weighs as much as her brother.

Kai (4.2 yrs old) is getting more and more coordinated and now can count to 100! He attends pre-school 4 half-days a week and has made lots of friends there. Of course... he also picks up some of his friends' "interesting" habits too, but we just keep trying to foster him. He has been pretty good about using the toilet all the time with nighttime being a slightly different story. He loves Star Wars, Pokemon, bionicle, Hot Wheels, and a variety of games. He can spell some words & starts to sound out some. Soon, he'll be reading more.

Miyana (2.4 yrs old) is still talking a LOT. She speaks in long sentences, but her enunciation isn't always the best and you have to interpret some stuff. Miyana is pretty good at being bossy too. She LOVES to color and LOVES stuffed animals. She's also starting to run & jump. Soon I'll get a picture of her curly curly hair.

Betsy is taking classes to update her teaching endorsement. She is working half time as a kindergarten teacher and is loving it.

Bryan has been travelling for work to many places including Dallas, San Diego & Scotland/England. He has also recently started doing eBay stuff (buying lots of hot wheels & things and selling various items for the family and another friend, Jack) .

This year, we're also doing some home maintenance, replacing some stained carpet with laminate flooring & fixing a toilet leak & bathroom floor. We've hired friends to do a lot of it and we're finishing up the rest. Almost done with those projects.

Betsy & Bryan have been regularly watching many TV shows, some with friends, including the new Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, CSI & Medium.
